How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am a degreed Plastics Engineer and Materials Scientist, B.Sc., M.Sc., 85% completion of PhD. I have completed approximately 8.5 years of university level studies in the pure, applied, and engineering sciences. I minored in the biological sciences. I have worked within the law enforcement and legal fields for approximately the last 28+/- years of my life. I worked in industry for several years prior to my involvement within the legal, and law enforcement fields. I have also completed approximately 840 hours of specialized training in various forensic disciplines at the Metro-Dade Police Department Training Institute in Miami, Florida, in addition to completing approximately 1500 hours of training in the more traditional law enforcement and other relevant courses over the last 26+ years. I have also been involved in several design, engineering, and analysis projects over the years, and I hold a patent (United States Patent 5662419), with others in process.

Which areas do you service?
All Civil and Criminal litigation matters in such areas as Firearm and Fingerprint Examinations; Crime, Bloodstain, Accident, and Shooting Scene Investigations and Engineering Reconstructions (2D and 3D); Gunshot Residue, and Gunpowder ParticleTesting and Identification; Product Failure Analysis. We will investigate whether or not Concurrent Engineering (CE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) practices were properly implemented in the design, development, and manufacture of the product(s) in question. We utilize such tools as Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), the Design Hierarchy, and Life Cycle Analysis. We also provide materials analysis, and identification services as needed.
